The Community Centre has been finished - three lovely strolls were had - and we're enjoying the full feelings of spring in Willowtree Grove.

It's the end of the week here in Willow Tree Grove, and it's time for our weekly catch-up. It's been quite a wild ride in Willow Tree this week. It was already one of those weeks where time decides to play tricks on you. Monday was Thursday, Wednesday was definitely Friday. But finally we've made it to the weekend. Through the perils of hail, rain, sun, high winds, and then a bit of a disturbing heat wave, all within the space of a few hours of the day. The sudden changes did lead to a bit of an investigation by the mothers of Willow Tree, whose children were getting quite a bit frustrated when the Thursday afternoon football match was cancelled and restarted three times. The investigations allegedly led them straight to the entrance of the mines, where Cormac was apparently causing a ruckus with his sister Adelaide. Well, safe to say that Friday found the weather to be much more reasonable, though a jump from sun to rain will always be a bit of a risk in the wonders of a springtime climate. Anyways, bit of a tangent there. It is sunny today, for however long that will last, and I have a glass of sparkling water with a hint of raspberry flavor to it. Let's settle in and have a chat about this week and some of the things to come. Top of the list, the last finishing touches have been added to the community center rebuild, which has been causing quite a few noise complaints from our dear Velamina, who somehow has never lost even a single hint of her pure joy at complaining. Truly, I envy her energy. Luckily she will be able to rest now that it is over. The beautiful mosaic of Ostara by our own dear Oscar will be a beautiful memory and a marker for when this new addition was added. Other notable additions are the reinforced cages and the five extra cages that have been added in the basement. The basement walls and ceiling have also been reinforced, and a new hatch door to the basement was constructed with the wood from the old bridge that was rebuilt four years ago. The council also took advantage of the necessary works for the basement to add a new coat of paint to the whole building. The old shutters have been changed out as well, and the used ones were donated to Donna Griss to build more hives for the visiting bees. Ooh, also, the students from Grace High were commissioned to spray paint a mural on the back wall of the center, so look forward in the coming weeks as that comes together. While the works were underway, I also took advantage of them to hide the first piece to my bubble environment spell. You will find it somewhere on the first floor of the building. The hint to find it is simply, when is it not ajar? The building work has come to a close just in time for our April full moon, the pink full moon, occurring Thursday, the 2nd of April. Don't get too excited by the appellation. The pink name comes from the wildflowers that spring at the same time. The moss flox, or creeping flox, is a close personal favorite, really. It almost looks like a thick blanket of pinks and purples that you might be able to sink into for a nap. Word on the streets is that the most likely place that you might find some would be on the rocky ledges in the trees by the Oldman Bridge. Also, don't get too surprised by the smell in the air if you do find some. They give off a similar scent to a certain recreational plant. But that confusion aside, it is a beautiful sight. For the new moon, all the usual precautions will be in place. The new community center cages will be available to anyone who might need them, and the crystal cages on top of the building have been expanded if anyone needs to dump some extra fellas in there. Now, though the pink moon is not going to have the rosy hue of its name, it is going to come with a very befitting feeling of renewal, and will make everyone, not just wares, be imbued with a feeling of confidence throughout their whole body. Make sure to light a candle with the moon's rising to capture the feeling throughout the year. Moving on to Adelaide's premonitions, reports are in, and the lovely stroll has three potential wares who claim ownership. Jules, the head of the Brackenpack, Renna Blossom, our resident seamstress and accounting genius from Boiled Bobbin's Haberdashery, and Peter Kurt, the young tech whiz from Grove High. Jules has suggested her stroll on Monday fit the bill. She was patrolling the perimeters of the forest, and came upon an illuminated glade just by a babbling brook. For the first time since she was turned, the fauna did not immediately scamper away at the sight of her, and she was able to watch the birds, the bunnies, and even a doe enjoy the water and the sun in a picturesque scene. Definitely a contender. Renna Blossom was on a small hike on Tuesday. She had some homemade sandwiches, wrapped in wax paper shoved in her pocket, and not a single plan of which path she would take or how far she would go. She wandered where her heart took her, the weather stayed on her side, and she was always pleasantly covered by the shade of gently swaying trees. She sat at the peak of town, near the altar, and ate her slightly squashed sandwich, in a calm breeze, in the gentle quiet of a beautiful spring afternoon. I mean, that does honestly sound perfect. Our final offering from the young Peter Kurt was on Thursday, the day of every weather. Peter started off at school for his only class of the day. He ventured out to a sunny, sunny afternoon and decided to pass by the high street to do a bit of window shopping. He made his way to Sage's Pages, where he found that the second book in a series he's been enjoying has been released without him knowing. With that in hand, he was off to return home, but unfortunately, the hail started and he had to duck into roast and toast. While in there, he bumped into his friends, who were having a quick snack with coffee, and he joined them. After a lovely chat, he headed out again, only to be pelted with an onslaught of rain. In an effort to protect his new book, he ducked into the new community center, where there was a class happening for the most recently awakened and or turned wares. As a very controlled ware himself, he stepped in to display some of the principles, and was applauded by the young wares, and offered a few trinkets by the younger children. As everyone knows, wares keep trinkets like dragons' hordes, so this was truly the highest honor. Finally, the sun returned, and he was able to get back home and read his new book. Now who do you think the premonition spoke of? There's most definitely an argument for all three. In any case, I'm happy for all three of them. And I hope some other people experience such lovely strolls this spring. Now, for the premonition for the week to come, we have someone is going to get muddy while in a shower. Well, I can think of a few ways that might be a thing, but good luck out there, everyone. Now, to round this all up, let me just remind everyone that the clocks are changing tomorrow. And the sad way, unfortunately, we will be losing an hour as we spring forward. The primary, middle, and high schools will be giving the customary morning hour, morning with a U, for all the students for the week, so all schools will be starting one hour later than usual, from the 30th to the second, with Friday being Good Friday and a day off, giving us all a rest day before the Easter festivities over the weekend. And also probably to clear up the mess from the full moon. Now I will bring more information next week in this report about the Easter happenings, um, what is to come on Monday, but we're keeping that a secret and under wraps until then. So that's all for now, my dear listeners. As always, have a soft and safe week. See you next time, here in Willow Tree Grove.
